Packaging Instructions for DNA Sample Shipment
Whether shipping domestically within the USA or internationally, the air transport of DNA samples is subject to specific packing, packaging, and labeling requirements.

Packaging & Labelling Instructions
1. Primary Packaging
Each DNA sample collection vial must be packed inside a leakproof bag containing an absorbent pad.
The 3X4 kit includes a small ziplock bag with an absorbent pad. Please ensure the vial is tightly sealed and the bag is securely closed.
2. Secondary Packaging
All vials must be placed inside a suitable, rigid outer container with at least one dimension greater than 10 cm.
You may use the cardboard tube from your 3X4 kit.
3. Labeling Requirement
The shipment must be clearly marked with the words "EXEMPT HUMAN SPECIMEN."
This can be handwritten on the box or shipping bag/envelope, or printed on the shipping label.
