Shipping DNA Samples - Packing and Labelling Instructions
Whether shipping within the USA or internationally, there are packing, packaging and labelling requirements for the shipping of DNA samples via air.
3X4 Sample Return Shipping Requirements
- Each DNA sample collection vial must be packed inside a leakproof bag containing an absorbent pad. The 3X4 kit contains a small ziplock bag with an absorbent pad inside. Ensure the vial is screwed tightly and the bag is sealed.
- All vials must be packed inside a suitable, rigid box that has one surface >10cm. You can use the kit's cardboard tube.
- The shipment must have the words "EXEMPT HUMAN SPECIMEN" clearly visible. You can write this on the box or shipping bag or ensure it's printed on your shipping label.
3X4 Lab Address
Please do not ship your sample to our lab yourself if you have not yet registered your kit code / you are shipping from outside of the US.
