How much does the 3X4 Blueprint test cost?
The price of the 3X4 Blueprint is $299.00, which includes delivery directly to and from your client and all lab costs.
How do I order a test for my client?
On your 3X4 Portal, go to Order a Test, enter your client's details and then submit payment.
You can order multiple tests in one order if the kit delivery can be sent to the same address. Adjust the quantity when checking out accordingly. You don’t have to identify each person doing the test at the time you place order. After delivery, each person gets a 3X4 DNA Sample Kit and creates their own profile to register their unique kit code.
How is a DNA sample collected? Does it hurt?
Our test kit is a simple and pain-free self-swab to the mouth. A thorough rub with a sterile swab on the inside of each cheek for 60 seconds is all it takes. No spitting or blood draw is required.
What happens after I place an order?
Within a few days following payment, your client(s) will receive their DNA sample collection kits. The kit includes all instructions and materials to collect their sample and send it to our lab.
Processing at the lab usually takes 2-3 weeks. You will receive an email notification when your patient’s 3X4 report is available on your 3X4 Portal.
How do I track the status of my client's test?
You can monitor the progress of your client’s kit order and their DNA sample on your 3X4 Practitioner Portal, on the Orders and Blueprints tabs respectively.
How long does it take to get the results back? Where are samples processed?
Results are usually available after 2-3 weeks after your patient has returned their completed sample. You will be notified via email with a link to their results on your 3X4 Portal.
We use a CAP & CLIA certified laboratory in the USA.
Where do I find my client's 3X4 report?
Your clients' 3X4 Blueprint will be available on the Blueprints tab on your 3X4 Portal, as soon as the results are available.
Can I offer 3X4 tests directly on my website?
Yes! Feel free to offer the 3X4 test on your website through any existing e-commerce system you have set up. However, you will still need to place an order on you 3X4 Portal after you receive your client's order.
How can I speak with current 3X4 practitioners to learn about how they use the test in their practice?
We highly encourage practitioners to join and ask questions on our 3X4 Community!
You do not need to be a 3X4 Practitioner to join, so feel free to send this link out to your peers and colleagues.
Can you send a 3X4 Test to my client in another country?
We currently ship 3X4 Tests within the United States and South Africa only but please reach out to us at info@3x4genetics.com and provide your location, and we will let you know if we can make a plan.
How secure is my clients' data?
Data privacy is a top priority for us.
We treat your client's personal information with the rigor and integrity it deserves, and our practices, procedures, policies, and technology are designed to safeguard your clients’ privacy and health data. All information and connections are encrypted using SSL.

Can genetic data affect one's ability to get insurance or employment?
While genetic discrimination is rare, it is both common and understandable to want to know what protections are in place around the use of this type of information. In the United States, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, or GINA, protects all Americans from discrimination on the basis of genetic information when determining eligibility for employment and health insurance. It does not currently extend to life insurance, long-term care insurance, or disability insurance. State-level legislation vary and may provide additional protections.
